HOLLYWOOD SEEKS CENTENARIANS TO HONOR AT VINTAGE SOUTH FLORIDA FESTIVAL
The City of Hollywood will honor its past and those South Florida residents who have reached their milestone 100th birthday at the 4th Annual Vintage South Florida Festival of History & Architecture on March 1st at the ArtsPark at Young Circle.
Centenarians throughout South Florida are being sought as part of the festivities at the free annual event, a celebration of local history and architecture that features live themed entertainment, historical displays, the Downtown Hollywood Dream Car Classic and activities for the entire family.
In the past, Vintage South Florida has recognized individuals and businesses that have had an impact on Hollywood’s history. In keeping with the historical theme of the festival, all South Florida centenarians who attend the event in Downtown Hollywood will be honored at 4 p.m. with recognition from elected officials, an awards ceremony and a birthday cake from Nilus Delights Bakery in Downtown Hollywood.
